Information we collect
Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. If commenting is enabled and you leave a comment, we store the comment, the name and email you supply, your IP address, and your browser user agent string. This is standard WordPress behaviour and helps with spam detection.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps server logs recording IP addresses, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, financial details. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site may set them to remember comment details you have entered, and third parties described below may set their own.

How long we keep things
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically rather than held in a queue. Emails are retained as long as they are useful for the matter they concern. Server logs are retained according to our host’s standard retention period.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Erasure does not extend to data we are required to keep for legal, security, or administrative reasons. To make a request, use our contact page.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
